Nah i have been to boom and prefer the glade to be honest. Much better organised, more variety (and i would class my self a psy trance fan but do like to have other options available) nicer site, at least last year and hopefully will be this year too. Big lake at boom i know, but trees are small and all is sandy with prickly grass and what with flights and having to travel to boom it doesnt work out much cheaper, if any than the glade.

Hi all by the way :) my first post but have been checking out this forum for a while to help my sanity whilst at work :)

Just in from the Glade Festival office!

Hi there...

We thought you might like to know that the Glade Festival is very nearly a sell out this year. If you
haven't bought your tickets yet, then please get on it now!

G Tickets, who's selling the bulk to this years event has sold out.

However, Access All Areas, who've been working with us since the beginning, have some left.
They're available from http://www.accessallareas.org.

The Glade DVD/CD is at the manufacturers at the moment and we can't wait to get it in the post to
those who've already ordered it. It will be with us soon... It's available via the glade website and
Access All Areas. The CD, which comes as part of it, is blinding and features 20 tracks from the
likes of AFX, Hallucinogen, Squarepusher, Dreadzone, System 7, Meat Katie & Elite Force,
Tristan, The Egg, Protoculture and loads more. The DVD features both 2004 and 2005 with footage
of many artists, interviews, freaks and that sunshine vibe. It won't be available in the shops until
after the festival. Only here!

Anyway, have a totally brilliant Mayday weekend and enjoy the beginning of summer...

All the best from us at Glade HQ.

Nope.

It'll probably be released a short while after Glade finishes. ;)

Tickets are offline altogether now.

So are they all sold out or is it a glitch?

I've seen that our friends on the Festival Weather board (excellent forum by the way) have announced that a few tickets have been held back for later release to help scupper the touts.

This is true, as I was told there would be a few hundred held back in a telephone conversation with one of the Glade directors on Monday. The thing is that I wasn't sure that was meant for public consumption (should have asked! doh!), especially as it seemed to contradict what another organiser told us a while back.

But obviously if Tony has published it, then it was meant to be public. My bad.

Hmmm why does this not surprise me  ..... What they did to do is put someone in charge rather than try to run things by concesus..... This is what happened last year when they gave three different explanations about the 'extra tickets'..... Ooops i'm being critical again..... Sorry

What I meant to say was....... Whoop Whoop... more tickets.... great! :wackyhat:

Thank God for that!
