There was another next to Breaksday that I made a daily pilgrimage to. Was going to try a different one every day, but didn't quite manage that. I'm not surprised they ran out of stuff to make a Purple Haze, though - that was niiiiice.

Must admit, last year when there was a tap right next to Origin, I was quite enjoying the trance whilst in a pretty hefty water queue. Hasn't been as good on my proper dancing trips to the place, though (curse my timing!)

It's all about Sausage Fest, excellent stall hope it's there next year. Lamb curry form the stall next to the Roots tent was good too.

Fave stall is still the African Kitchen one that was there in 2005, if only it came back.

Ate a lot of oat pancakes as well.

definitely, i ate that every morning, i didn't half get confused that they were french though, due to my state of mind i just looked at them blankly, looked around (expecting to see the eiffel tower) then snapped back into the room. needless to say they thought i was a bit odd, but i kept going back for more....so yummy!

mmm tartiflette

loved the super burrito i got from the mexican stall on saturday, £6 like but better than the normal burger shite you get at most festies.
im a big fan of chili sauce though, and while i was queing up noticed a bottle they had called 'insanity sauce', had a little smell and thought thats nothing that, put a little bit on my finger and had a taste, oh my god, i was jumpin round in the que crying like a little girl for 5 minutes hahahaha

Flat Cow!

Postby mthraves on 26 Jul 2007, 08:33

We were on our way back from Origin on Saturday afternoon as the lightning storm was starting and grabbed a couple of flat cow burgers to take back to the tent. Normally, festival burgers take about 4 hours to eat and get stuck in your throat, but these ones were really moist and easy to eat. Felt really good to have decent food whilst sitting in our tent during the downpour! Hope Flat Cow returns next year.

Wierdigens are great and lovely people (except for one of their new staff who had a paddy at me for having my boot about 2 inches in the tent bit, which I'd previously be told was ok for me to get them off there)...

They did our crew food last year at Northern Green... mmmmm!

Its all about the burritos. Chilli and cheese sat on a nice dry hay bail in the sun after Squarepusher finished his sweet set.

Up at the top by the back of the breaks tent, between it (the breaks tent) and the burroto stand. Next to where the camping for that catering was cordoned off.

The smoothie place by breaksday was amazing, I must have spent at least £30 on smoothies from then...
