FFS, he's been officially confirmed by the organisers on the GladTalk Glade 2007 lineup list for weeks.

First announced on GT's list on 5 May after being sent a confirmed line-up list direct by the organisers. We had a query from someone who noticed that Meat Katie was not on teh official site's list for some reason, but I double checked and confirmed it here on 9 May.

No worries, Chopper, it just gets frustrating when we have stuff weeks ahead of anyone else, then don't get the credit for it. :(

He's playing the main stage, perhaps you were only looking on the breaks stage?

Try his myspace for starters: http://www.myspace.com/meatkatie1

He's predominantly a breaks person but he doesn't tie himself to a genre as much as some. The wikipedia page on him says: "He has gained popularity in recent years in developing his style of tech-funk, combining techno, tribal, electro, breakbeat and house music."

He's definitely well worth a main stage slot, people won't be disappointed.

I have respect for this guy for having the guts to play with different genre elements especially as it has now encouraged many other Breaks artists to do the same. Im not a big fan of his style I find techy breaks a bit boring. As always with Meat Katie i'll give him a go but probably won't last long.
