i got asked to go outside in the overkill tent by a steward at the front, even though the dj was smoking!!!!!!!!!

I'm pretty sure stalls weren't meant to be selling balloons of the stuff but Herbal Highs were for the whole festival.

yes... how can they enforce the smoking ban inside a large marquee if the dj at the front on the stage is smoking?!

We were let in with a personal amount of nos no problem.

And as for smokeing in tents, I was talking to an oxfam superviser who said it was the stewards job to stop smokeing in the tents but as their were so few of them to a tent it was impossible so they just concentrated on their other duties instead. Security didn't want to tell people to stop smokeing cos they were afraid of insiteing a riot by all accounts. I think the smokeing issue is gonna cause trouble with the licesnse application next year.

Mostly smoking was fine everywhere except the totally pretentious Pussy Parlure. The had the most arsey, shouty, angry security in the whole festival.

There was no way to get away with smoking in there and some bloke complained to me that even though he had gone outside to smoke, they made join the end of the enourmous queue to get in. Twats.

to be fair, if i was the owner of a 70 year old wooden structure, I wouldnt want people smoking in there either. Pussy Parlure has always been no smoking, even before the ban.

Im a smoker and i flaunted the ban and smoked in the tents. (not P. Palour tent though, still after 2 glades i have yet to go in there).

There didnt seem to be too much of problem. Im glad i didnt have to stand in the rain to smoke, however as i am one of those people who only smoke when i drink i can kind of take it or leave it, so i dont think i would have stood in the rain for a fag.

However the smell of herb smoke in the overkill tent was kind of over powering as i dont like the stuff it wasnt great. I wonder if thats what people think of normal fag smoke in a pub.......

didn't have any probs getting in with nos but was told to leave id spiral by someone (not security) at about 2 am as i was bout to do a balloon....

as for arsey, shouty, angry security..
to start with, most of the security i encountered this year were alot friendlier and more approachable than previous years.. and the security as a whole are supplied by the festival so what makes you think that ones stationed in the pussy parlure were any worse than security over the rest of the site?

guy we were with got all his taken at his tent and while they were at it they took everything else we all had, or they were going to call old bill and have all of us kicked out
