And of course, anyone in a campervan with both gas and a toolbox are (potential) terrorists (that's probably what police chief was referring to as terrorist menace around West Berkshire).

And it could be very dangerous, as all drug makers (which any festival going hippy is, as we all know) probably have more chemistry knowledge than doctor/wannabe terrorist, and knows that you'll need some oxygen (or other oxydant) to turn all that in a pottent threat.... so please avoid taking any nail if you have a butagas....

well i hope they realise how sensitive i am, i mean, i could go off any given moment, speshly if they make me nervous!!!

(note to those in uniform with no sense of humor: the above is in jest, no need to apply spooks on me)

If police or whoever are whatching this then I do hope they take into acount all the tent thefts and other crimes that went on last year, I apreciate that drugs are illegal and police/security therfore have to enforce that, but don't let that put aside the fact there is some very dodgy types, stealing and starting fights.
I ask this because last year my freind had all his money stolen on the first night and barley got by to monday as a result. He hardly eat besides what we could spare for him and we werent exactly loaded.

sorry m8, but i do believe they could not give a flying toss about things like that (as default), the nice little statement given by that nice bloke from TVP clearly sets out their *political* agenda in drooling over busting drukg dealers & recreational users asses. the norm :o

you can complain to them reporting crime aginst you or yours but they want proof. it's easier for them to go out & make their own work to fill their shift hours.

that's the way i see it.

Never mind all that, the fact is he's clearly the bloke out of the Hovis ad from the 80s - kid on bike, cobbled streets, 'rrrrreal butter'.

You knows it.

Where to, though?

Seems most of the English-speaking world is moving in the same direction. Britain seems to be the worst - but the others aren't far behind.

So I guess learning a new language is order - but I still don't know where to move to yet.

I dont care about the drugs thign at all, but the police presence is really gonna ruin the feel of the festival for me. Glade has allways been like a happy community, where everything has been riendly and free. Now i worry, it may feel like just another festival. It was enevitable but this hole thign has sucked the pre-festival out of me... gabba :(
