Glad i'm not the only one who's been suffering with the sleep paralysis, and the old brain shocks when moving/thinking too much! But what can i expect when I've have a 10 day bender....? I knew a glade warm up was a bad idea! Today has been the worst though, but its only because I've had to let reality seep back in by doing mundane things like sorting tax, wages and rent out blah!

My empathy goes to one and all suffering with the glade blues, roll on 2008!

Ive had a mild case of the head-shocks myself. ive had it once before so i was prepared this time round but the first time you get it is horrific. anyone whose panicing, dont worry it will get easier after each good sleep.

As for the glade blues :( browsing these forums is lifting my spirits. just wish i was going to another festival before winter sets in.

No wishing to be picky but you are more likely to be playing LSD by HALLUCINOGEN. One of the finest PsyTracks on the planet.

Just reread this thread, and its comforting to know that others get the headshock/sleep paralysis thing - i often get it after a big weekend and its quite worrying, had it last monday after the glade which was horrible and also some really dark dreams too.

I get the worse headshocks where it feels like someone has put a sword very slowly thru my head. Then I can feel my blood going around my body and blackout for like 5 seconds. Not nice at ur desk in the office.
Dont worry about making a plan, for your greatest strength is your ability to make it up as you go along.

But I do plan to kill, kill, kill you all!!!!!! And Gabba...

I came back home for the first time since Glade tonight (had work in Birmingham) and saw a load of guys with Glade wristbands on the train. Looked down at the still mud covered tent bag and felt very nostalgic. Every time I've got into my boys'f car all week I look at the Glade mud from teh car park. SOB

That's pretty extreme... is it really worth it??

My wristband is still on the side of the bath where I put it the night I came back and had a bath... I haven't got the heart to move it for some reason

yep, sad, a bit, this afternoon sitting in the sunshine i wasnt able to get rid of the thought that this is just a bit of a piss-take from above, 30 degrees and blue skies. although, once i got used to it the mud was really bingo to have a boogie on, oh yes. :wackyhat:

Have you discovered Holland and Barrett's 5HTP with valerian root?

Two of the 50mg capsules before bed, make sure you get 9 hours to sleep if you can, you'll wake up like a bolt as if you've been asleep for ever. Take them for a week and it should get your body clock back in synch.

If you're really hardcore you could take one during the day as well, to help you concentrate and keep your seratonin up...... this is NOT a replacement for a healthy diet though. Eat bananas instead if you want to do it the organic way :D

I had a really vivid dream last night that i was back at glade already, it was sunny and there were some new peeps around in our camp. It was around 10pm on sunday and i refused to leave and the music was still going...then i woke up and seriously thought it had been a year since glade this year...it took me a few moments to work out its only been about 3 weeks :? :D
