While we were at our camp on the Saturday, a guy and a boy who looked about 10 years old, came along handing out bin bags. The guy offered us a variety of drugs and when one of my mates expressed an interest in some powder the little boy started giving prices and saying it was really good stuff. We all immediatly said that we weren't interested, it was way too wierd doing a deal with a 10 year old. He could have looked young for his age, but still....
My first festival was Glastonbury, when I was 4. From my own experience I would say that kids don't pick up on as much stuff as you think. It wasn't until I was in my teens that a lot of the stuff that I had witnessed in my childhood made sense. I still now remember stuff and realise what I had seen. I consider myself a quite well rounded individual, so I don't think it does kids any harm to go to festivals.
