hurray finally!! more memories!

Hello hello!!!

Cor blimey and all the rest to that... What a festival the Glade was this year!!!! We're still clearing the site 5 weeks later... We got hit by the worst rain storm that England has had in 30 years or so as the festival was about to start on Friday. We knew we were in for some water landing on us but never in our wildest dreams guessed that was going to happen... But still... It was different.. It was without doubt a mighty belter!

Thanks to everyone who got to the festival and threw themselves at the weather, with smiles on your faces and a total refusal to be beaten by the elements. The festival, more or less, still went to plan despite all of this and we are thrilled with how it turned out. Loads of people saying it was the best one yet.. Which is pretty mad. However, we really don't want to have to be put through that again though... Let's hope we get our sunshine back
for 2008!

This email is a little overdue and for that we apologise. It's taken this long to brush off the mud and clear our heads...

To all of you that came to the festival this year we say THANKYOU for being brilliant and showing that we can have fun in whatever circumstances that are thrown at us. We hope you understand that the crew and team behind the Glade this year did the best job that any organisation could have done; we are aware that some of you spent ages trying to get through the floods to get the event and we salute you for not giving up. Nice one.

Anyway, hope you enjoy(ed) the sunshine this bank holiday weekend and much love from us all at Glade HQ
