musically i come to glade for overkill mostly but if it wasnt there id probably still come for the vibe. anyone that was in overkill for the bangface night will agree that the breakcore scene is beautiful, freindly and aving it. i do think its the tent that stands out but thats cos its so different from the other stuff!! but surely that makes it a good ting, as glade has a nice variation. breaks and psy are a good contrast, as are the other tents at glade. i find they make good compliments to each other and wouldnt want it any other way. i dont see glade as a breaks and psy fest, breakcore has made a home here as has dubstep and other electronica like warp and so on.

Allright then, how about a DnB arena tent :haha: :haha: :haha:

I just think theres so much variation and mad stuff going on in overkill it needs to have a bit more air time, possibly more overkill type acts on the mainstage, squarepusher was a good start, KJ Sawka for main stage next year!

I'd be happy for Bangface to have its own tent, purely to stop it overshadowing the rest of the Overkill tent.
There's more to experimental electronica than in-yer-face stuff (much as I love it).

I would welcome more IDM, Dubstep, Leftfield Techno, Chiptunes, Electro Punk and all the other stuff that should be on the overkill.

Maybe I'm just a geek, but I'd prefer to see a few more inspiring producers and a few fewer comedy acts.

there was loaaaads od dubstep on saturday. a bit too much IMO. imm all up for some but it did get a bit tediuos when there was a good few hours of it. although neil landstrumm (sp) was one of my highlights i just love techno and dubstep mixed together, sick sick sick. i was down at the front for that going mental i well needed that!

i think there is mroe the overkill could do in terms of experimentation, but it could flop if people are expecting BANG BANG BANG. a more upfront breakcore/gabba tent would be handy, even if it was open like the techno tent was this year for night. sometimes in the overkill something metnal would come on (which i love) id be ravign away aving it hard then the next person comes on and its well chilled. i like variety but theres almost too much stuff the overkill covers now for it to flow smoothly.

Yea I'd say a heavy overkill tent should be complemented by a smaller more chilled tent. Could be called "underwhelm" or "the difibrulation unit."

I agree with the idea of 1 gabba/breakcore tent and another with more quiet stuff.
