Fire art - those awesome smoking trees!

Postby skenderbeg on 14 Oct 2007, 19:54

I was wondering if anyone knows who made/designed/installed those awesome smoking tree/lampposts that emitted jets of flame that were close to the origin stage. If nobody knows, who should I contact to find out? The organisers? I'm involved in putting on an event and am very interested in having something similar!

Thanks,
A

I don't know.... but I know a man who does. ;)

Will get back to you on this. The same installations were at Beautiful days and one or two other festivals, so you may be in luck.

There was a sign just before them which said naturesavinu with a small @hotmail.co.uk at the bottem. I presume thats who did them, I'm not sure if those are the correct spellings/colloquisations or if it was .com or .co.uk but if you trawl the pics thread you will find a pic of the sign.

And yes they were fucking wicked, big up maximum respect etc etc to whoever did them.

The man you need to contact is Pip Rush.

I'll pm you the details. :)
