we don't need no stinkin quiet area!!! If you can't get too sleep you obviously haven't been bad enough ;)

Actually last year we camped up in the quiet area not knowing it was supposed to be quiet. 15-odd of us. Our neighbours were not best pleased. We are not quiet.

we bunked in the quiet area last year, it was fine and dandy, and while we tryed to keep it down a bit, we still talked an laughed all night, just didnt shout an play tunes, everyone seemed fine, also was quite nice and chilled compared to the rest of the camping area.

on another note are u soma related (as in the glasgow label), or just a fan, or ur soma means something else?

I knew a couple of people who were camped in the "quiet area", not because they particularly wanted to be but because it was the first bit of camping space they got to and were too knackered/lazy to go any further. It was anything but quiet for them, they were camped next to a bunch of boys who played their boombox non-stop at times they wanted to sleep.

no no not related to the label, just abit of a huxley fan :) and think that soma is an appropriate name for party forum use.

yeah it did seem a little more chilled than the area in the actuall festival, but we will see.

The psytrance was still clearly audible from the quiet area. It wasn't really that quiet, just further away from the stages.

Quiet area?
Quiet area??
Quiet Area???

What is this? WOMAD??
I don't want to miss a single minute of Glade if I can help it.

And if I need to chill, I'll just go to the ID Spiral. That's what it's for.

yeah to be fair though chill and sleep are to completly different things. i felt the first year you would have been able to sleep just about any where (preferably on the big red cushion) but after last year i dont think this would be such a wise idea, due to heat and theives.

We were behind the Spiral, it was very subdued indeed, and fairly quiet even with the psytrance pumping out. But it was also right near the furthest part of the fence in the woods, primed for for jumpers to invade and rifle our tents. :(

Thinking we'll be finding somewhere slightly more lively this time round?

Think this really belongs on the idSpiral chit-chat forum now.
