I Had a Spigging good time at Glade, but there was only one thing that put a downer on my expierence, but had nothing to do with the actual festival. I all started on the Friday.The people i was camping with somw people that i knew, but were not my close mates. Its annoying when you think you can truset people. the peole i was camped with were very unprepaired unexpierienced festie goers and very imature, unlike me. They had started to run out of money, rugs and prety much all bare esentials. i didnt spend much time with them as i was with my close mates most of the time, but EVERY time i wet back there my zips were undone. they kept taking stuff out of my tent, im pretty sure i know the boy that done it but have no way to prove it. so in the space of the weekend, he/they stole my torch, mirror, bog roll, NOS, ripped apart all my raps that had my MANDY in (he found no mandy cos the wraps got wet through and had soaked into the paper, which was lucky in a way).

I now have no time for these people cos i just cant trust the scrounging hufters!

Has anybody else had this experience? and what would you do if u was in my position to get your revenge (no violence)?

trust no-one. use the lock ups. keep yer essentials on you, a bum bag or something. keep a spare set of clothes & other things in your bag in the lock ups.

well the thing is i had a padlock on my tent, but when too spanered i couldnt be assed to lock it (oops) but eventualy i started doing it again and they just broke the zip open!

Padlock's not a good idea anyway - as was discussed before the festival, it's pretty much advertising that you've got something worth nicking, so it'll probably just get slashed open instead.

yes good point didnt think of this, padlock was on the inside of my tent so thief would have had to open the first zip. im just lucky nothing of real value was stolen!

Yeah, I was inside my tent having a babywipe shower, once finished i open my tent to discover some CUNT! had stolen my wellies in the five minutes i had left them!!! That really took the biscuit, luckily i only had to wear bags on my feet for the saturday night, as i managed to get some off someone who was leaving and needed a fiver for the tractor on sunday morning.

its all about those water proof body wallets to keep everything in

I can't believe what arsewipes some people can be. Stealing someone's wellies FFS! Glad you were able to get some sorted out.

No doubt Glade is full of good, good ppl. But as with all places there are some twats. Why oh why do we always seem to camp next to a bunch of them every year?! I am always surprised given the number of great ppl I meet on my travels around the site how I get stick next what is a large group of twats.

I'm sure if the capacity was cut less twats would get in as the more organised of us who save and plan to get tiks early are less likely to be morons.

We'd set up 3 tents in a little U shape, just enough room in the middle for us to get a couple chairs and chill, then for our mate to get a 1man tent in when he turned up Friday.

Wandered off for a drink and a look round, came back to find a couple of guys pitching a huffing great big family tent right in the middle, pegging it right under our tents.
Weren't too bothered, really, 'twas just the attitude they took to it - wouldn't even consider moving it, even though our mate was turning up the next day. "You should've been sitting here to save it" was their opinion, IIRC - as if I'm going to sit round on my arse all day just on the off chance somebody's silly enough to try and camp in a tiny little space.

Wankers nicked one of our camp chairs as well, then denied it.
Was only a cheapo jobby from Tesco's though, so we weren't too bothered about that. It's just the principle of the thing...

(everybody else we met was absolutely top-notch though, loving the Glade vibe)
