The second Bangface Weekender, held once again at Pontins in Camber Sands, East Sussex, has proved a resounding hit with nearly all who went, with 80% in our BFW feedback poll voting it “Cosmically Bang On” and a further 15% voting it “pretty good”.

The Guinness Book of Records has verified that the world’s biggest glowstick was erected at the opening ceremony in Camber Sands, standing proud at 2.54 metres (or 8ft 4ins in the old money).

Sadly the world debut of Speed Dealer Moms, an electronic collaboration between Red Hot Chili Peppers guitarist John Frusciante and breakcore maestro Venetian Snares, had to be cancelled due to technical difficulties. But in the words of Bang Face organiser Saint Acid: “A few tears, a few hugs, some cups of tea/coffee and we decided to move on and try again asap.”

Ravetalk can reveal that John and Snares will be trying again at Bang Fest on the August Bank Holiday.
