Any Classical Music Enthusiasts

Postby teknon0tice » 19 Apr 2008, 14:37

This is driving me mad, I'm trying to track down a certain track I'm thinking of, but the best I've found so far is the last 5 seconds on this fast show clip. Napsters been about as helpful as a thorn in my arse.
I've tryed everthing, if anyone can tell me what that tune is at the very end of this video you'd be a saint.

Ah our tuitors keep bringing up that 4:33. Its a nice idea, and I'm sure its a laugh to whatch, but on the other hand: what the fuck?
I saw this piece in the tate gouring a uni trip that had the same idea, but instead of an orcistra there was just an empty gallery space with a flickering light, but besides a cow cut in half it was the highlight of that place.

Why can't muppets ever read instructions?

idiot-guide-the-new-board-t4396.html (it also tells you how to do it when you mouseover the YouTube button)

I love it, probably just because I like the thought of subjecting a room full of people to it and forceing them to just stop and think. And think. And think. Hopefully for some it'l be the most boreing 4 mins of their lives. I also hope their are some conissuers of it out there who relish every performance and really listen for every second picking out all the differnt background noises etc and probably get really really pissed off if anyone laughs. But its a peice of music everyone can take something away from - possibly the most accessible peice of music ever written yet pardoxicly it's percived as crap by just about everyone.

Hmmm, probably not the first place I shouldve gone to for a this question.
Problem is I have two sides extream sides, one is loving the sophisticated beauty of orcestral enchantment, the other is a full on gabba junkie with a sprinkle of acidy/jungly twatage. I think I need a vacation.

(By the way if anyone actullay does know the tune I was talking about that really would be awsome.)

I think it's one of the Romeo and Juliet pieces but can't for the life of me remember which one.
