Anybody want to buy some wonderful decks?

Hey! I imagine most board regulars have a set but as I have two pairs and we are supposedly feeling the effect of the credit crunch it is with great regret that I must sell my sexy Vestax beauties.

They are Vestax PDX-2000's and have probably one of the fastest spin up times of any deck available. (0-desired rpm in .5 second apparently)

If you read any review for these decks they will tell you how the are the evolutionary step to the standard 1200's

I thought I would try and sell them here so I know they are going to a good home. Price: £250 for the pair. (They retail at about £280-£350 in the shops PER DECK!

I'll take some pics when I get home if anybody is interested. I could probably drive halfway to anybody if they want these and want to save on postage. I also go to London a fair bit so could probably deliver them to places near to London. Or you can come to me and see them working (I am in Norwich though)

thats so sad! im sorry to hear you have to sell them. i was actually looking for a third deck, but im skint at the moment, as much as id love to take these off you and give them a good home. good luck selling - dont rule out ebay, people will be buying decks for xmas soon enough, just set a minimum so youi dont lose out and factor into that price the paypal/ebay fee's.

good luck, if i know anyone whos after a pair, ill pass them this link on

Bottom has completely fallen out of the second hand deck market since CDJs arrived on the scene. 1210s are still retaining their value quite well. You'd be lucky to sell these, although anyone wanting an upgrade (like me) could do FAR worse than nabbing them from you.

I spent £200 on my s/h PT-2000s about 4 years ago, it was a good deal at the time but they're now worth £15 :D

Sold em for £410 including the mixer in the end. Bought some mint SL-1200 Mk2's (6 years old) for £220 instead! 6 years old with Ortofon DJS carts and needles.

I was seriosuly laughing :)!

Felt a bit cruel taking them from her but she didn't seem to care that she was punting them out so cheaply. (The carts/stylus' look barely used and are £130 for the pair new)

So now I have my £200 I desperately needed and still have a nice pair of decks. Using a horrid spare mixer I have but when I run into some cash I'll have to re-upgrade
