Well I heard a rumour there was bar work still on offer. I'll see what I can find out and post back here when I do...

I've heard good things about it too. And with a website like theirs I am intrigued....! Am in two minds whether I can spare any more time to go to any more festivals... I guess I'll see nearer the time!

Tickets are being sold by G Tickets (the Glade Ticket people) at https://www.gtickets.co.uk/secretgarden/

There are still some available....

Have decided that it's a close call between Beautiful Days and TSGP. But Beautiful Days has won for me - simply because I know a lot more people going there.

Anyone else going along to that - if so, I'll buy them a pint!

Cheers,

Ben

What a belter. Possibly the best festival i've been to. On a par with Glade, anyway (blasphemy?!).

The only down point to the whole weekend was that they got their licence changed and had to switch off at 2am instead of 4am after complaints from Bill McTory. Didn't stop the party by any means though.

It was like the best bits of Glastonbury, without having to walk fifty million miles to get anywhere.

I would be screaming and shouting to everyone I meet about how good this is... but then it wouldn't be much of a secret :P

Quote of the weekend:
"I'd love to stay, but I've got to go play at the boring V festival tomorrow (cue boos from crowd)" - Lilly Allen

Definitely on a par with glade, if not in terms of line up then in terms of all manner of crazy shit going down.

Adam Freeland rocked, wheelchair racing down a muddy slope was hilarious, while dancing on a pontoon over a lake while watching the sunset was pure bliss.

one of the friendliest crowds ever, not a chav or whatever in sight. and no nazi security guards either!

hum, sounds like a belter, still its a bit of a trip from scottshland, so think id have to choose between it and glade, and of course id choose glade for the line up everytime. still u never know, maybe make two mammoth trips sout next year?

The lineup wasn't that consistent, but there were a few fucking fantastic names. Seeing Arlo Guthrie play the full 20 minutes of Alice's Restaurant may have made my summer. And it was good not to be tied down to having to go anywhere at any time. There was enough going on as well as the music for this to be a good, rather than a bad thing. Met some truly brilliant people as well.
