Had a great night, as ever, but not quite as good as Bangface normally is... really thought Andy C wasn't right for the feel of the night... I guess mainstream DnB isn't my area of expertise anymore, but it sounded like every tune was by Pendulum. Kick, Snare, KickSnare. Great for the occasional track, but for a whole set?

Having said that, Electrowerkz was beautiful as ever... Bangface goers are still the best raving partners in the country and it was f*cking awesome to get chatting to Davey (I was the guy playing pool and then randomly bumping into you to discuss our purchases!) and meet loads of new people, as ever. Surgeon was great and I very almost bounced off the ceiling when that Sabbath remix got played. Shackleton was good and whoever was first on in the second room was playing some pretty storming stuff!

Love to the Hardcrew!

I just put more tix on ticketweb cos loads of people we're traveling from around the country :)
can help the queuing probs but makes some people turn up a bit later when they have a tick - shame on them :P

Cheers to all the hard crew - plenty of comedy all round

Yeah, I must say it didn't really start to fill until about 12.00ish - I'd never seen it so quiet to start but when it did start to fill it was, as usual, a top crowd! Starter in room 2 (?) was the EMO Hunter (with the black woolly hat) yeah agreed, difficult to warm the crowd but did a cracking job...Alan Titmash, Surgeon and Chris Moss Acid were excellent but I think I missed most of Duran Duran Duran (I get a bit fidgety and always have a nagging feeling that I'm missing something in the other room) but I really enjoyed the Andy C set to the extent that I spent it entirely in the pit - It was really hard work staying on my feet and I went for a little crowd surf at one point but survived without going down - I never realised that having fun could be such hard work! (Oh yeah, sorted the Weekender place without resorting to going down!!! Result!!!) :)

When all is said and done it's the crowd that makes it; Elliot (Sorry I can never remember your mates name. Doh!) Boki, Magma, Tabard Crew. Bongobil - I know our paths crossed but I just can't remember introductions, I'm sorry. As always, a real pleasure...

And of course, the Saint :notworthy:

Great night, apart from the disc off one of my microdermal implants falling out somewhere in the mash pit.
I've got a threaded hole in my stomach as a result, and the local piercers were annoying and couldn't put a new disc in.
BK for breakfast at Waterloo is always good after BF.

I think I remember you looking! I asked what you dropped and started looking but you'd search when the lights were on.

A very handy breakfast to be had across the road and around the corner in Chapel Street market. Opens early for the traders. Used to meet Kate the occasional BANGFACE photographer there - They used to have (until I last visited last summer at least) a 90 year old man who walks there from Hampstead? Haverstock/Primrose Hill? to fold the napkins for free tea and brekkers. Used to work for Youngs Brewery in Wandsworth as a drayman. The staff are cool with the BANGFACE casualties as well. Please tell me why it's not my regular post BANGFACE destination?

emo hunter was doing really well early on. i felt a bit sorry for guys from LA - i think the sound system was letting them down and they just sounded a bit crappy. they certainly put in a lot of effort. nice trunks too.

duran duran duran were fucking amazing. and chris moss was doing some nice bleepy bleeps.

i did manage to pull a filling out however. now got a razor sharp tooth stump which is doing me no favours today

hello to everyone i met! a lovely hard crew as always.

(i'm starting to wish i'd chosen a different name on here... introducing myself as tabardcrew to you davey was somewhat embarrassing... )

It dropped off in my hand and then me being a big of a drunken mess at that point I tried screwing this tiny little piece of metal back into myself when it really would never work and then dropped it. It's not closing up anywhere near as badly as I thought though so I should be getting it sorted out on monday, just means a long journey to Coulsdon.
People were nice and offered to help so thanks for that if it was you :)

That place sounds cool, I just usually want to crawl back home by that point so eating at the station is the best bet for me.

Jemo, BK breakfast when still drunk is amazing, chips are great in the morning, as is a couple hours sleep so the next day isn't entirely fucked. I don't think I could handle drinking at half 7 by myself when I get back home.

That dude in the speedos was fucking hilarious, holy shit he was sweating like a cheap crack whore though.

All my friends pussied out or were skint, useless people, my flatmate doesn't care for the kind of music that's played at BF but I'm dragging her there before the summer anyway.

It looks like I was too pissed to stand, doesn't it? I assure you it was just part of whatever dance routine I was improvising at the time!

Had a great time, not been to elektrowerks in over a year.

Loved the d&b early on in room 2, Surgeon was spot on techno - great stuff. Also really enjoyed Andy C and the mash-pits :D Got proper spangled and drank too much sambuca (as usual). My shoulders ache - probably from dancing to gabba too much
