I'm saying nowt. :zip:

Shit. If there was an 'alarm bells' smiley I'd have put about 25 in this reply.

What can this possibly mean? I don't much care though, if there's another Bangface Weekender next year I'm definitely going. I was a complete tit not to go to this year's.

OK, what I can say is that it's not automatic that Bang Face is part of the Glade. It was invited to the Overkill in 2006 to showcase what was then a smallish night, attended mostly by people in the know, and introduce it to a wider audience.

It was, of course, a massive hit with the festivalgoers and has become a bit of an institution, but it is not a permanent fixture and it's decided on a year-by-year basis. There were times when it looked like BF wouldn't happen at Glade this year, for various reasons which I won't go into.

So it's not set in stone that BF Night will always be a part of the Overkill Stage at Glade. It probably will be back next year and the year after that, all I'm saying is that there are no guarantees. You just have to wait and see.
Top one. Nice one. Get sorted.

If you have any useless mates who are still dithering about coming to Glade, show them this article: http://www.ravetalk.co.uk/glade-festival-2009.shtml

I know it's just a 'guest' thing, but it's still a highlight even if I personally preferred the Saturday night this year (mostly due to the savage awesomeness of Autechre and Current Value.)

Side note: I'm still a complete tit to not have gone to any Electrowerkz Bangface nights, seeing as London is such a breeze for me to get to. Will remedy this asap.

if you're not already planning to do it, bangface acid on sea would be a good start...

Cos some people don't appreciate the horn crew.

And I don't think the psy trancers like the hardcrew that much anyway. Haveing too much fun instead of hardcore psycadelic experiences, fun isn't allowed you see, mind expansion is what glade's all about!!!!

I call myself a psy fan before anything else (although love all electronic music) and went along to Bang Face on Friday to see what it was all about because there was so much talk on this forum and my mate and I had a great time :) !! It was loud, messy and crazy everything a good party should be. Although I don't think I could spend a whole night in overkill (my legs would start to hurt) it was definitely good for a laugh and stomp as well as having some great people.

It'd be a real shame to lose Bang Face at Glade. It's one of the things I look forward to most!

Can we have Ceephax back next year though please?

One thing I felt that changed about Bang Face at the Glade this year was that the previous two have felt like they have best of the clubnight line-ups, with all the best people who've played at the Electrowerkz appearing. It didn't really feel like that this year. Hmm... I'm just having a go at Vibes & Livelee again here, aren't I? Sorry!

Was still a brilliant night though!

i'm yer classic psytrancer... except i don't have dreads, i've got a job, and i know what deoderant looks like. i've been involved in psy in one way or another for the best part of 15 years so i know loads of "psy" people, and i've never experienced anyone having a go at the "hardcrew". we may not get your music, but we definitely appreciate the colour you guys bring and it would be a big loss if glade stopped catering to that side of things.

on a side note, a "hardcore psychedelic experience" for me and most of my friends is pissing ourselves laughing for hours while everything disolves around us ;)

Yea it was a genralisation but it did come from my mate who is a psy trancer (also without dreads!!!!!) who said that him and his crew were put off from going to glade by the overkill and breaks elements playing just as much a part of the festival as the psy trance, their all going to the more hardcore psy trance fests this year. (waveform and offworld, plus some shizznizz in spain I think)
