Bang Face @ Glade is ON!

Glade Festival is Britain's biggest and best non-corporate electronic dance music festival, with a proper havin' it vibe. It's 16-19 July 2009, get those dates in your diary.

The line-up for glade nearly reduced me to tears with some of the clashes last year. Wasn't half as bad as the clashes at the BF weekender though.

Finally... something in writing :)

my predictions / hopes for this year:

Luke Vibert (because he's missed BF LV)
Bong Ra
Tim Exile (who was great at the planet mu party and is always a wicked entertainer)
ChrisMossAcid / Ceephax ( i love my acid music)
Shitmat and some wrong music (!!!! please !!!!)
Josh Wink / Guy Called Gerald / other old school acid/techno artist... would really love to hear josh wink spinning an old school acid house set, but thats maybe something more orientated for an electrowerkz gig
Hixxy /Dougal / Ellis Dee (obligatory hardcore / old school act, there has to be one - Ellis Dee would be ace if he still DJ's)

And,.. ermm.. St Acid and the Bangface hard crew!

Ellis Dee makes fairly bland breaks now. But hopefully we'll get a corker of an old-skool act. Top of my personal wishlist would be Luna-C

A bit of Remarc would go down an absolute treat! Plus he's never done Glade..

Definitely the most rinsing set at the Weekender!

Failing that, some old school rave would be nice :wackyhat:

oh im really excited about this!! Although not going for the overkill i do love a good mash to any gabba/breakcore/sillyness that goes on...this is going to hit the spot royally! I attempted the tent last year but it was so packed and the constant strobe lights weren't working my sense right last year!

Must.try.harder this year :D

Yea I saw the spoonfeeding, was a damn good chrotle.

As for orbital, I dunno how fresh it was, all I know is that I heard all the classic orbital tracks live, played as a just orbital set mixed very smoothly. Fuck knows wether they were differnt versions or whatever I was pretty out of it too but for me it was brilliant. Some of the very first rave music I heard, I think I got hold of the brown album from somewhere and fell in love.

Vibert and Drumcorps are at Dour Festival the same week-end. So they're both unlikely to be at Glade. But who knows...
I got everything ready to go to Dour. And now I know that Bangface will be at glade, i'm all confused...
Is there still tickets for Glade???

They were all different versions, some of them quite a bit more beefed up than usual to fit in with the Bang Face vibe. He's really getting the hang of Ableton is our Phil. In fact, that set was the closest I've seen to a proper live Orbital set since they split.
