:) I had a brilliant time on Friday and it was really good to meet you all and put faces to names
Even worth the 4hr delayed train journey home at 7am :?
Although entertaining I'm still not sure what to make of Nastie and the Otto Von Schirach set. I feel like my mind has been slightly warped in some way!

Excellent. Thoroughly excellent. I really wished it was time to leave at least three times during the night and I thought "fuck this, need to sit down" but I just changed down a gear and was back up to speed within 45 mins each time

Must say that I appreciated the genius timings of BF sets more than ever, I was really really looking forward to Hidden but stayed downstairs for 20 mins then by the time I came back up he was a bit shit, thankfully only 20 mins more to wait for Dev/Null, who was outstanding. I can't honestly say for sure it was Dev/Null, or Schirach, but you get my point. 20 min changeovers ftw!

Met two random guys on train who were down for Fabric, they were right, Plastician was sick, Otto & Ed Cox were.... entertaining... (thought Cox was excellent fun as well though) and whoever was downstairs around 2am was absolutely mental good.

I'm in two minds about 12th though. My sensible side says "no" but my heart says "YES YOU STUPID MOTHERFUCKER"

Do iiiiiit... best looking BF lineup for months, I reckon, plus it's the Christmas party. It's going to be beautiful Bangvibes all round!

Good to meet you two on Friday, incidentally!

What actually happened with the cage(s) on the middle floor?

I heard reports of them moving across the room with people in them.

Then came in a saw a mangled pile of metal taped off by security! :D :fear: :fear: :?

That's happened before, but security have never stepped in in the past, so I guess it just got a bit out of control. It is hilarious looking back from the front of room two to see caged ravers slowly inching their way across the floor though! :D

Security seemed to have a busy night... I hope the guy I saw being led off the dancefloor around 4.30 was ok in the end, he didn't look too healthy/happy.

Yeah people were dancing in the cages which were moving across the dancefloor due to either a)extemely vigorous dancing or b)people pulling them along.
The moving cages was funny, but the toppling cages wasn't, one guy was shaking this cage with a girl in so hard she was bashing against the sides and looked like it was about to fall, and someone else pushed one super hard causing it to whack into me which a)hurt and b) ruined my dance

lots of a's and b's :D

The smoking area's been changed again? I liked it best when it was the courtyard style area with the planes. Electrowerkz is mental, so big with so many rooms and passages all over the shop. I wonder what it was built for.

It's a restaurant?! How the fuck does that even work, last time I was in that bit I'm sure the roof was partially exposed to the sky. Must be severe rebuilding, can't imagine people shivering away in the wintery cold waiting for their starters listening to the muffled sound of jungle and ravehorns!

Thats was me dude, glad you enjoyed the tunes and had a good dance! :)

Thanks a lot, i really appreciate that, i can honestly say that both times i have played at Bangface, they have been my favourite gigs ever, best crowd, best vibes, always a pleasure playing to the hard crew! :)

Yeah the cage incident was crazy, during my set in Room 2, my girlfriend came over and tapped me and said look up.. I then noticed the cages had made there way across the dancefloor and they were all over the place, at the time it made me smile but i do hope no-one was seriously hurt by it..

The Electrowerkz is forever changing, i got a bit confused when i first went for a cig, didnt expect the restaraunt lol,.. Does anyone remember when they had the paintball arena in there, goin back about 8/9 years now it must be!

HOLY CUNTING FUCK! :o

That. Blew. My. Mind!!!

I'm still in a state of disbelief of just how good this weekend was :)

That must have been the best one ever. The line up for the xmas one is indeed proppa' brilliance but...I dunno if it can top the messy/crazyness of Friday night! If it does I will be grinning like a cheshire cat for weeks after

So lovely to see so many of the hardcrew faces out for that one *hugs* & there were lots of lovely people there for the first time ever who were sharing great vibes in the place ^ _ ^

Highlights of my evening without a doubt Otto & Nastie's set (Totally gutted not to have bought my miniature Whip with me during a certain moment of that set hahahah) Shame it clashed with SmashTV though :( as this is now the 2nd time I've missed them play! >_<
Also really loved Plastician & 2 badmice... Plastician destroyed the place!

Shame I missed Dev/Null (was watching Ben play his set) But had a wicked time downstairs dancing about to that so not going to complain

Only thing that could have improved that was the smoking area lark...what a chore! Wish I'd seen this resturant thing haha...wtf?

So all around verdict of top night! Nice one Acid

HELLO YOU FUCKIN RINSEHEAD!!!!!!!!!!! I had to laugh many many times at the state in which you had put yourself. I then laughed more at Stu having to deal with you at 6am :D Cheap train tix for BF62 are proving elusive but I've got my eye on things.

I think that might possibly have been my mate who did something similar sounding to that at one point around 2am. I was more worried about the large (presumably sharp) broken pole protruding from underneath. I was wearing shorts so assumed it'd do me a fair bit of damage. Security moved it to the side and turned it so you couldn't get inside, but someone just pushed it back out again and climbed in.

Fuckin' loved it (as usual)

Ed Cox - was there a melody from Black Uhurus 'Whole World is Africa' towards the end of the set? You Cheeky Kafkaesque chappie - no time to get make up advice tho'!

BenWrongun - I'm sure Ossie, head of security, let you play an extra half hour out of pure unadulterated love

I missed Tim Exile (was it a 'Nuisance Gabaret Lounge' sort of set?) as I didn't get in until late but walked into the middle of Plastician - HAARRRD! You lot certainly seemed to be enjoying it!
(The Jury had been out on Dubstep for a while now but they are back and it's unanimous   )

2 Bad Mice and Lenny D were the bollocks! :) :)

I missed Seizmics 1st set but caught the second and became so engrossed that I missed the dancing cages! You're a baad man Marc!

I'm a bit unconvinced by Otto v S tho' - possibly not enough volume or bass to be able to fully appreciate the 'Oozing Bass Spasms' ?

Anyway, Baldie, Cunning Stunt, Varntvar, Sarahhhh, Boki, 99 Red, Magma, Jemo, Demonic D Lauren and anybody I was too wasted to acknowledge (or remember) - as always a real, real pleasure.

Cap'n Pinksock - A real honour to be press ganged into service aboard the Donk!

And of course Sainty, Katie, Jake and the rest of the BANGFACE organisation and all HARDCREW - Thank you for a top night! :D

(All stickers have been transferred from the T shirt to my 'Fridge of Shame')

FUUUUUUUUUUUCK!

I think I irreversibly banged my face.

The triple whammy of Lenny Dee, DJ Hidden and Otto Von Schirach was the greatest single 3 hours of my entire life. Thankyou!! :) :) :) :)

Anyone here recognise what tune Lenny Dee played about 10 minutes from the end of his set... sort of techy gabber with a melodic breakdown and the lyrics... can't remember exactly but something about "nothing can save us now"???? It was fucking wicked. Any help massively appreciated.

is the new restaurant thing this? http://www.guardian.co.uk/artanddesign/2008/nov/20/carsten-holler-art-adrian-searle

"Week one, and the atmosphere hasn't quite kicked in yet. The cooking has yet to hit its stride, though the barbecue was firing up nicely out in the big open space where the western and Congolese bars collide: swanky lights, serious cocktails and high bar-stools on one side; a knocked-together wooden bar, a big Primus Bière sign on the wall and plastic garden furniture on the other. On good-weather nights, the roof opens up. The whole place is a cultural mash-up, in what feels like a good way."
