Bang Face TV?

Postby dar303 » 29 Apr 2008, 18:19

Please say that someone recorded the show(s) on sunday night?
It was totally hilarious with all the wasted people the interviewed, the ironic comments about everything, keyed away hiding-behind-the-shark-dance and all...
We had a hard time leaving our chalet (169)because of the tv until we heard about the party in 205 and went out. Then people started falling from the second floor and Saint Acid and Bong-Ra appeared! Great party!

Youtube it and do future generations a favor! :)

I will happily pay money to see the part where Normski fell over on top of all the gear, cutting the broadcast

big respect to the Medlo guys!!

Bangface TV was great and the choice of movies shown was pretty good too (though i heard there were a few melted heads as a result of some of them)

i spent a brief period "on the couch" with the TV crew and it was great fun, i would love to do that for a living as opposed to boring drama stuff for the beeb!

What is the name of that move about a couple of survivors of a nuclear war?
It scared the hell out of a couple of my friends and had to stop watching!

The TV was sweet.

I well enjoyed willow and they live (or the bits of them I saw) although I understood non of what was going on in them.

We recorded most of Bangface Tv and will get the edited hi-lights put up on you tube shortly. I'm glad everyone enjoyed the shows and hope you weren't to darked out by some of the choices of movie we put on (although that was our objective).

Apart from being threatened by a coupe of people who REALLY didn't like the show everything went better than we could have hoped and Normski was an absolute Don.

The Shinning thing scared the shit out of me!!!!!! But I would love to have a copy of that. Does anyone know if you can see the interviews they did with people? ME and my mate were so wasted and went on TV after some bloke gave us lots of his drugs if we promised to go on TV and say hello. I think I was quite funny but maybe I was just a twat!!

Please do. The only Bang Face TV I saw was during a moment in the chill-out room. What I saw was someone phoning in some crap joke to Normski and then pretending to put someone else on the phone, with Normski then asking him how come this new person had exactly the same voice.

I remember Dogtanian and The Huskahounds and The Shining, our TV's signal was fucked and was all fuzzy which somewhat made it more interesting to watch.

I'd subscribe to BFTV anyday.

hell no it was grand, like 24 hour jamm & ye cant beat that!

best normski moment for me was him talking in all seriousness about when he met mohammad ali & about parkinsons & saying
"no get this parkinsons is a shakey business yeah, its no joke"

that had our chalet in fuckin stiches for ages

Ah so you're Fergus... thanks for your involvement, your time on the couch was much appreciated! If ever you want to swap positions then let me know as we've been trying to doing boring drama stuff on the beeb for years with no luck.

Thanks to you all for your kind comments, glad our barrage of sleeplessness yielded entertainment. The Shining Remix and Nam 2 are both available as torrents somewhere out there on the interweb, and much of the stuff we showed can be found on our YouTube pages:
http://www.youtube.com/MedloTV (official)
http://www.youtube.com/MediaLoungeTV (bootlegs)

Does anyone have any suggestions for what they'd like on any speculative future Bangface TV broadcasts? What worked well? What was missing? What would you like more of?

Always looking forward, people, always looking forward.

ahh man, bangface tv was AMAZING. i don't generally watch much TV, but i would sign up to a subscription straight away!
i think my highlight would be the wrong music "game show" in the morning and generally just the amount of wrecked folk on screen. gave me such a chuckle.
i think a few people got pissed at some of the jokes people sent in, but what do you expect? hahaha. terrible.

Well I am finally in posting mood, what a weekend !

bangface tv was one of the weirdest places of all !

Saturday morning at about 5 - 7am was very weird, kept on coming in and out of interviews and then it would write something on a scroll, and then in would go to the highlands and a band would play, did anyone see it ? rare and confusing - had us in the chalet abit perplexed with it all

Normski Normski Normski, did anyone see it when he fell over his decks and they had to stop the broadcast, very funny :D he was being a knob, right up himself, then crash, fell over and stopped the feed ha ha

also when he was talking about Parkinsons and muhammed ali, and he says, without realising, ''parkinsons is a shaky disease, it aint very good'' :D

and lastly we had out text read out - ''I shag sheep for prophet and pleasure''
