hey james.
how are you?

i went to bloc, thought i may see you there on the saturday..
stayed with jason of subhead and got his details if you fancy him doing a set at one of the future bangfaces..
he was more than game in doing this.
very tight techno set at bloc.
how this was possible after what was going down in the run up to his set is quite amazing....
messy weekend is an under statement.

Oi! Sainty! :notworthy: :notworthy: :notworthy:

Whilst on Last FM last night I had a little lookie at the Model 500 biog. and they are not listed as playing at the Weekender - they're playing in Glasgow on the 26th.

Is anybody gonna let Last know?

How close are the two rooms to each other? I'm sure that like a Friday night BANGFACE there will be situations where you have two must see artists performing at the same time resulting in much soul searching and pulling out of hair - I may need to borrow somebody for this! Would it be an idea to have mulitiple copies of set times in each chalet to give you time to work out and plan your movements? (I don't normally need to plan my movements, they just happen. As long as there is a toilet handy...!)

Decisions decisions... :panic:

If it's anything like the layout at Hemsby for Bloc (aren't Pontins the same everywhere or something?) then you need to walk through an Arcade or round the building to get between the main two areas. No doubt there will be some frantic rushing about!!

Hi, I'm a student in Dublin studying film and TV. , I want to do a documentary about Bangface and the Weekender because this my culture and I bloody love it. I film every festival I go to but want to do this properly. Could you give me some info on how I go about getting permisson from you guys to do various things like filming (past the barrier) and interviews. I would really like to chat to people involved and whoever ye think would be good to talk to. I would be very very grateful. If there's anything you want to ask or need more info just email me back.

The website has been updated... new names playing!

And there's clips of the new Snares album on the Mu site. If Circle Pit lives up to it's name at the Weekender.... :wackyhat:

Ah, am surprised that James didn't put up the new names himself.

Here they are anyway, taken from the latest Hard Crew mailing:

Bang Face wrote:We're also being joined by RADIOACTIVEMAN, X&TRICK, SI BEGG, GLOBAL GOON and more!

And check out the website for info about bonus sets and the pool party.
