Bang Face XLVIII - Fri 12th Oct - 4th Birthday

Let Saint Acid bang your face with breakcore, acid, gabber, mash-up, jungle and dubstep - not forgetting the inflatables and rave horns.

It was DJ/Rupture... he's blimmin brilliant.

What a night. Thanks to St Acid and absolutely everyone. Still slightly weirded out by playing pool with DJ Scotch Egg just as I was about to feel the effects of everthing I'd imbibed.

Also, thanks to the girl who's name I totally failed to get who became my semi-raving-partner for the night... thanks for all the water and especially the blackcurrant!

I ended up getting to bed at around midnight on the Saturday as I was at an all-dayer... 42 hours awake is really not good for your brain!

God, I love Bangface.

Yes! I was that Clown!!
Dave's the name but you can call me Wanko!
I thought 'Yeah! Go as a Clown - somebody's gotta entertain the kiddies!'
I always though Clowns were a bit of a laugh, everybody likes Clowns, seemingly some people are really freaked out by them. Especially the two little girls in our local. My mate George and I slipped in for a pint whilst waiting for the train to London Bridge and the two little uns screamed and ran away, prompting their mother to have a go at me... Shit, perhaps this isn't such a good idea... It was alright though, 20 minutes later when we left it was 'Bye Dave, bye Mr Clown!'
I did have people getting up and moving away when I got on the underground though...
And some sad geezer had a go at Angel tube when I walked up to the barrier and couldn't fit through with my 61'' waist trousers, bounced off, turned round and threw my hand in the air in exasperation and by means of explaination - 'Get out of the fuckin' way!!'
Still, I had a laugh!!
I ended up on my arse going down the stairs on the way out and this girl came over all concerned. 'Are you alright?' 'I'm a Clown' was the reply 'I know how to fall over...'

Yet again, nice one hard crew!!!

Dave

Ps. If you're gonna have your head pushed forward into a custard pie, make sure you turn off the spinny bow tie first or it could get messy!! I know...
