Agh, I'm really torn on this one as the Wrong Music tour is being hosted by Lobotomy in Nottingham that night (Scotch Egg is supposed to be playing at that, too - I guess they've lost him to BF as happened with Chevron a few months ago). Plus one of my frineds will be celebrating his birthday at Bang Face's birthday...aaaaagh!
I've got feelings of anxiety, me.

It's my bday the day before and the line up is fucking awesome so I hope to make this one. Only prob is some of my mates want to go to Stir, damn these clashes. May, Saunderson and Dale playing the next day too (shame it's at Ministry tho), a great weekend for club nights in London.

Has Colin Dale ever played BF? I reckon he would rustle up a great old skool rave/techno set, some pirate Kiss radio days stuff. Would be perfect!

Good luck mate, I'm afraid people who like "that boom boom boom boom music" are in the minority at unis these days, most people arn't even aware of real dance music. Though I did strike up a confab about drumcorps/vibert with somebody on my first day so its not all a lost cause.

Yeah, Pendulum seems to be pretty popular at my university too. A few people are going to see them in November, but they just ain't worth twenty quid of my money. I've asked if anyone wants to go and see Teknoist in Leeds but so far all I've had is, "Cor, that's some crazy drug music right there. Well done for having the stamina to take an entire night of it!" Bah.

Someone on my course likes IDM, hes well in awe of me seeing squarepusher and a few mins of venetian snares and another well into his glitchy trip and hip hop. But its definitly the minority, luckily lesta has an alright DnB night but its all just fucking jump up, Blackmarket, Clipz and jaydan on sat. DJ SS started a night in one of the student night clubs, he played some well nice dark stuff and cleared the floor so he dropped sum pendulum and everyone started danceing, I went to sit down in protest, I'm pretty sure that nights stopped now, SS just couldn't take the shame of haveing to play pendulum all the time I rekon.

Phil - I really still can't commit got more uni stuff to sort before I can fuck about with the frivolous side of life atm unfortunatly, I think my loan might be fucked up as well, all I can promie you is that I'm gonna be at the weekender come hell or highwater. Gnome sanctury!!! I need pics.

For the first time in godknows, I bought Mixmag today to keep me company on a train journey and noticed they had Kid606 and Noisia in the Bang Face listing - where these maybes at the time the lineup needed to be submitted for their deadline?

Fucccck, I wouldn't be able to keep away if they were on it as well, I've been wanting to see Kid 606 for fucking agers and noisia is one of them that can do no wrong.

The ginger kid at frount of that pic is gonna get a very nasty taste in his mouth pretty soon, watching people spit glowing goo never fails to amuse me, when will people learn

I know plenty of people who have turned up to drug heads partys as hunter s, no one ever realises that its a costume, they just presume their a genuine acid head.
