the heat at glade was the appetizer for the heat in spain. in spain it is hot even during the night, you have to take 2/3 showers per day, thank god they were free and no queueing involved

xkejjer, slightly off topic but have you been to sonar? if so is it worth going to? i'v been considering it for a few years but never went. is it banging enough?

nope, i am seriously planning to go next year though. i am still weighing my options for next year, depends on the various line ups and in which festivals radiohead will be appearing.

but if there will be no radiohead playing, i'll definitely go next year. i assume it is banging at night, this year there were several great electronic acts to bang with.

Went to Sonar in '04 - a fantastic party, and good fun to go to a diverse, fun festival in such an urban setting... The size of the "rooms" at Sonar by night are a bit daunting (think aircraft hanger...) and the choice of acts slipped from the sublime (Roots Manuva live at 3am, Laurent Garnier NOT playing live and NOT playing any indie... Hawtin & Villalobos) to the complete turd (er, So Solid... DJ Hell), but it's one hell of a weekend. And that's just the official parties... check out anti-Sonar too.
