best artist you've seen at bangface?

Postby buzzingtalk » 02 Mar 2007, 15:03

for me, its got to be when i saw venetian snares there a few months back. its hard to come by a chance to see him live, and seeing him at bangface, n a line up as good as it was that night, was one of the best live sets i had seen in the last few months, until i saw loftgroover and producer last weekend (at electrowerks funnily enough )

so, who has been your favourite so far?

Yeah, that Snares set was awesome. In fact, he played twice as it was the first ever two-roomer! The night as a whole was the best time I've had at Bang Face as well. I ended up in a pub at 1pm on Saturday afternoon with some Scottish bloke I'd only met that night. Bizarrecore.

I've been to so many its difficult, B12 blew me away about 6 months ago, when Panacea played after Bong-ra about a year ago, that was pretty special.. I think my favourite set would probably be Bogdan's Raczynski's next week (!!) but im gonna bastard miss it...

My girlfriends favourites have been bunter and slipmatt!!

Countryside Alliance Crew were certainly entertaining at christmas.... Super Sharp Sheep! :wackyhat:

And yeah, that Panacea set was awesome. My favourite was the first time hearing Bizzy B though, you can't beat brocking out to some darkside mashup amen action 8)

Either Bong-Ra or Monster Zoku Onsomb! The first for being possibly the most intense, mental producer out there bar-none, love that ragga-metal-jungle and seeing a mosh pit form within 5 seconds of him coming on, the pounding sub-bass kicking in and then the guitars and jungle breaks :D MZO because I loved their live set and crazy, silly music. Well worth seeing next time they're over here!

Countryside Alliance was perfect for how I was fealing at the time.

would have drunk my own piss to have seen Snares though. The tickets sold out hours before I was paid.

Countryside Alliance Crew were superb. I annoyed my then-girlfriend by singing, "I've got a brand new combine harvester and I'll give you the key, I got the key I got the secret!" for days afterwards. I would drink my own piss for an mp3 of that*.

*Not really, I'd just really like one.

Scotch Egg. His set was fucking intense and it was hilarious when he dropped in the Top Gun theme. :D

I keep looking at this thread and can't seem to decide on the one set that rules 'em all (out of the ones I've seen, that is) - I think Ceephax's set on his birthday has to be up there - he was on top form that night.
I've got feelings of anxiety, me.

I think my favourite performance was uZiq in, err, June this year (I think). The night had started off a bit 'nice' for my tastes and then Mr Paradinas came out and tore the place to pieces. I was completely ruined, which probably helped matters.

Also, really enjoyed Vex'd when they played and Aaron Spectre in April this year was something else....

I remember the Venetian Snares night, I think I was the only person who mainly showed up to see A Guy Called Gerald, who I love.
Seeing VS was also totally awesome though.

Ceephax was also totally stunning like most people have already mentioned.

I also love Surgeon, so it was bliss to see him at BF.
