Add your two cents!

http://www.ush.net/board/viewtopic.php?t=205947

This has been brought up cos there's a load of people from the ush.net board coming to the next one.. nothing at all to do with me.

What a crazy guy that DJ must have been!

I'm sorry it sounds complete wank, pop tunes mixed into pop rock.. but the added buzz of having a load of planks in there that think they're badass, with fucking gay hair moshing around while sticking inflatables up each others arses must really add to the experience?

Kerayzeee people fuck me off because for the most part, they are just normal people, but in attention seeker mode. They think that acting like a prize prick will draw attention to themselves and thus their ego is boosted. It's not about enjoying themselves, why do you have to act the arse to enjoy yourself?

he sounds like a big fat COCK, since when did a person that paints there face or wheresa a hat becomes an arse ..it peple like you who point a finger and have nothing better to do that are the arse ...

Pah. Like Dirty Harry said, opinions are like arseholes - everybody's got one and they all stink. He's obviously trying to be Mr Controversial, I wouldn't let him get to you Jem.

Until the 'gypo' comments started, which were bang out of order and irrelevant to the topic in hand, one or two tapped into why I might feel a bit uncomfortable at a Bangface night. The average age sounds about 20 or less and the thought "do they all think I'm a sad over-35 trying to be down with the kids?" might well be at the back of my mind. I know it wasn't judgemental like that at the BF night at Glade - but then it's the Glade. This isn't what's stopped me going to BF so far, it's mainly down to working most weekends when it's been on, but if I'm going to be honest it's also because I'd feel more comfortable at club nights where you get a much broader mix of people.
Top one. Nice one. Get sorted.

I wasn't keen on him when I saw he had a St. George's Cross for his avatar, but when he went and said he doesn't like 303s I knew for certain the bloke was an utter cunt. :D

I've always found the mix of people at Bang Face to be extremely broad - far more than other clubs I've been to - and that includes the age range. In fact, one of my mates who I go there with is with 32. I think the last couple of months there's been an increase in kids who clearly got into it all through that New Rave scene that the indie kids are into, but as long as they're up for it (which they all are) I don't have a problem with them being there. It's sneering fuckers like some of the people in that thread who really piss me off and make clubs rubbish.

All I know is that at Bang Face I have no problems at all with sitting down and having a chat with a complete stranger because the entire club oozes friendliness, whereas at other places I'm hesitant to do this because of the attitude they give off. So sod people who are so bothered about whether the people at Bang Face are going to be "normal" (whatever that means), we don't want you and your fucking nonsense there anyway.

There has deffinatly been an increase in younger people at bangface through the so called nu rave thing, but at leasts its proper rave and not indie rave and there all in the spirit of it and have good fun. As everyone is saying its the most friendliest night out there and alot of fun.

hmmm.... st george's flag...anti-gypsies...anti-students...a penchant for 'normal' people...angry, militant, high and mighty, uncompromising opinions.... all sounds a bit tory to me.

still ush is a predominantly hardcore site isnt it? and someone i know once made the claim that when rave split in the early 90s, the right went to hardcore and the left went to jungle. a complete overgeneralisation, to be sure, but from my limited experience theres some truth in it.

but i digress. yeah! cunts! have yet to see valid criticism against bangface. FRAGOR FACIES NUNQUAM EMORIT!

I think there were a lot of positive things said about Bangface on that thread, and some quite good responses to idiot posts. mr st-georges-cross basically looked like a twat, he hadn't even been to Bangface, how can he possibley commment? I was concerned though when so many people seemed to agree on his huge gypo generlisation comments.

He is very young though and I'm sure in a few years he'll be a lot broader minded and cringe at some of his up his arse arrogant comments (well one would hope). Funnily enough it's the type of student he is, an opinionated, stuck up high and mighty shit, that I dislike, rather than the ones he described!

And, yeah, I've met some stuck up wankers at Bangface, but come on, it is in Angel. It's crazy that there are so few, given it's so close to Hoxton. It's quite fun really having just a few there... they always seem to come and do that pretentios 'look at me' dancing right where I'm dancing, so it gives me the excuse to bump them quite a bit with my dance moves!! I always give them a massive smile and say 'hi' if they look at me. Great fun.

That was really funny. The St George guy was a twat, but it's fun to have someone on a forum with outrageous views. In Holland, Gabba is all about nazi stuff, so it's no surprise that 'ardcore music attracts these people in the UK.

Jeez, does this mean we could end up with Nazis infiltrating the gabba scene over here, like they did with the skinhead movement a couple of generations ago? :?
