Big Chill

The joys of living in a field, sleeping in a cheap tent, braving the Portaloos and not worrying about being squeaky clean for a few days. It's festival time again!

It's the exact polar opposite of something like the Bang Face Weekender.

Middle class Guardianistas on a camping holiday basically. ;)

Hmm, mabye it was the massive BFW hangover talking, but ended up getting a ticket as anything with chill in the name sounded like a good idea.

Oh well, Plaid, Vibert and Bill Bailey. That'll do me, I'll bring the gabba. 8)

Still manage to have as much fun at the Big Chill as at glade just depends who you go with really!! Good range of music as you say Luke Vibert, Daedalus and many a dubstep ripper!!

Just ignore all the Guardian reading muppets who don't understand what a real festival is and make of it what you will!! :wackyhat:

Ironic, innit, that I'm most likely going to this now because of the Sunrise wash-out? ;)

I went last year it was lots of fun, and yeah very different to the Bangface Weekender!

People did seem a little bit posh, but you can't hate people for that!

Heh heh, how times change eh? This is also the same person who wasn't going to go to Glastonbury and is glad he went because it was the best in years. :D

I swapped my Sunrise ticket for a Big Chill one on the strength of Bill Bailey, plus seeing some old friends off another board who I haven't seen in ages. Anything else is a bonus. :)
