BOOM

The joys of living in a field, sleeping in a cheap tent, braving the Portaloos and not worrying about being squeaky clean for a few days. It's festival time again!

Mate, it was absolutely incredible! The eclipse was the most awe inspiring thing I have ever seen, the people were amazing and very peaceful, I didn't hear a single story about anyone getting something nicked (even after the event on the net!), and the surrounding countryside was absolutely beautiful. The food prices were a bit steep, and the main stage collapsed on the first day (but was rebuilt) after a mini Glastonbury style flash flood, but other than that I couldn't find a fault with the whole thing.

No haven't got my ticket for that yet, will definitely be buying it by the end of the month though.

Next total eclipse festival will be in 2009 in Japan (if I remember correctly) mate. I think I'd better start saving now because it has to be done!

I used to not mind the odd bit of psy, but glade put me right off it
probably just the fact the we camped just next to the liquid tent, so were constantly bombarded with what ever pounding bollocks was blaring out of there morning, noon and night,

Those sick of trance, check out the carpark of Boom during the festivities as some BIG rigs from Bristol are going to be there playing out pretty much anything BUT trance, (i.e. anything tek!!)

:o That is some of the best news I have EVER heard! A tek rig at Boom, if it's anything like I remember at UKTek WOOOOOOP!!!! :D

The only thing about BOOM I didn't like was the music they played during the night.

How was it different to the daytime stuff?
Top one. Nice one. Get sorted.

If you have any useless mates who are still dithering about coming to Glade, show them this article: http://www.ravetalk.co.uk/glade-festival-2009.shtml
