Re-cycling at glade??

Glade Festival is Britain's biggest and best non-corporate electronic dance music festival, with a proper havin' it vibe. It's 16-19 July 2009, get those dates in your diary.

Re-cycling at glade??

I was very suprised that there was no opportunity to re-cycle at glade. I think it would have been very easy to do this. Glastonbury manage to recyle waste and it is 10 times bigger than glade. why was this not a consideration for this years glade?

I agree, I was a expecting to find a little more in the way of recycling. It seems to work really well at Glastonbury.

I think being 10 times bigger would actually make it easier for Glastonbury. Economies of scale and all that. I'll try to get a response on this for you though.

its a fair point

i did think to myself that it was strange there being no recycling facilities (maybe there were somewhere on site?)

i'm sure most people would have used them had they been there

There's a lot of recycled jokes in the Pendulum threads on this board, so we're doing our bit. ;)

My friends were litter picking, they had to go through all the rubbish and sort it afterwards- why they couldn't have recycling bins out for punters to put plastic, cans in etc I don't know. would have made it easier.

I have edited your post to illustrate the problem with providing multiple bins for people to separate their own waste
