Fresh off the back of a year that has seen them tour the US and smack shows at the Miami Winter Music Conference and Glastonbury, both K7 and M_nus Record’s Swayzak headline with their trademark DIY drift of genres. This is electronic music that has The Funk with feeling and atmosphere – waaaay beyond the generic breakbeats and samples of yore.
Support comes from Digital City’s resident DJs, BarryDark, Tentonatom and Remote fusing all that is electronic from afro to electro. Flanked by a matrix of projection screens, the visual quality is represented by VJs Dr Mo and Parallax, while the evening kicks of with Digital City Film screening a selection of acclaimed directors’ exclusive independent shorts, promos and animations.
