early birds sold out

Glade Festival is Britain's biggest and best non-corporate electronic dance music festival, with a proper havin' it vibe. It's 16-19 July 2009, get those dates in your diary.

Yeah, I think they sold out nearly a week ago. Didn't think to post about it though. D'oh!

im intrigued to see how its changed, too. if there is any less breakcore then ill have to reconsider my 'work free' festival for next year.

i will, however go to glade either way. i just wont pay ;) im hoping to get a press pass, bangface/overkill or not, as it was the most beatiful festival to take pics at and having a wristband for the whole site and stages would be awesome. Sperge, can you PM me a suitable email actually? nearer the time if you think its best to ask in a few months or so :)

i hope that the music policy continues to grow and expand, id like to see the return of the roots stage a la 2007 - it was GREAT and would have been much fuller if the location was more central and not waterlogged in sticky, sticky mud.

vapour is AWESOME, but id like to see a few more hours added to the roster - maybe from sundown onwards, building the intensity of techno til the end at 4am?

overkill MUST stay! less dubstep next year though and more experimental/live shit e.g. OSAKA INVASION :) needs to be a space for dubstep as it went down well last year but seemed to be sread out between breaksday & overkill - maybe have a specific time on each stage for dubstepage, or even a dubstep area/open vapour in the day and have dubstep

Does anybody know how this ‘student ticket’ works? How do you prove you’re a student? And does it have to be full-time study?

I’m not a student anymore (wish I was those were the days) but one of my housemates is. Can I get them to buy my ticket? Or do you think they will ask for ID and student card at the gate?

At the end of the day I’m still going to Glade regardless of price just wondering if I’d be able to scam a cheaper ticket. Cheers

I bought an early bird before the student deal came out, but im not too bothered about giving the Glade an extra tenner, especially since i went for free last year :)

I would guess just a student card with a photo, or maybe a letter from the university with your name on will do at the gate

Cant wait :)
