Festival tat

It's a good idea to get some cheap festival tat such as fairy lights, solar-powered garden lights, inflatables, windmill flowers and other such colourful rubbish to brighten up your camp.

Pound shops and Ebay are good places to look for this sort of stuff. Obviously make sure any strings of lights are battery-powered (or solar) rather than running from a mains transformer!

Also try Argos, Aldi, Lidl, Wilkinsons, Homebase, B&Q...

LOL, I only do the odd few freelance shifts in London at the moment, I haven't been a resident there since 2003, so can't really help on that one. May possibly be moving back down in the coming months but that doesn't really answer your question.

Ask the London BangFacers like buzzingtalk and WaveyRaveydavey, they'll probably know.

Camden. There's a pretty good fancy dress shop that sells loads of random crap. Just turn right out of Camden Town tube, keep walking down the main road and you'll see it on your right. Surprisingly big for what it is, two floors. Worth a look.

Actually there's quite a bit of random guff down Camden. Just have a gander.

Yeah, good point!

Aldi (yet another good source) are selling those head torches really cheap - and it was awesomely useful at Glasto!
