I had to stop myself from laughing out loud reading this morns papers when I clocked the retarded comments made by Jacqui Smith on the matter.... yes love, the fact people are getting upset about having ALL their private details leaked to the world really must be conclusive proof that there is a lot of 'shame' attatched to being a member of the BNP & that it's members realise it
So nothing at all to do with the fact that it's their PRIVATE INFORMATION & PERSONAL DETAILS or that some people's jobs are at risk from it beign leaked.
I don't think it would make a slight bit of difference if that was a list for BNP members, any other political party or even just a list of clients for blockbuster or something The fact peoples full names, addressess & phone numbers (even other info like hobbies, job titles etc!) were all there for anyone to abuse is more than enough to make people upset & angry.

I don't think that is a good enough excuse really... I gave her a very quick 10 minute lecture on politics & such this morn & all I got was 'well I don't really care about politics, the goverment or what's happening in the country with all that...it doesn't really bother or affect me'
I was stunned.

Bear in mind that this has arisen from some squabble within the BNP though. Their opponents have gleefully helped distribute this list once it was released, yes. But then they would, wouldn't they?

I don't doubt that it's a horrible thing to happen to people, I certainly wouldn't like it happening to me. On the other hand there is a site called Redwatch which publishes pictures and details of left-wing activists. The BNP's official position is that they don't endorse Redwatch, as they are keen to distance themselves from the old bootboy image, but you'd have to be a bit naive to think that some of the rank-and-file don't still support things like that. So you won't get too many tears shed for them from the likes of UAF, ANL, Searchlight etc.

Yeah, Jacqui Smith is a bit shit. But there's something about the job of Home Secretary that turns them into wankers. Can you think of a single Home Secretary that you've liked? I can't.
