Find your local Nazi!

Someone has published the entire BNP membership list online - names, addresses, numbers, everything:

Reason: This was the old, dead link but it's being deleted anyway. Better safe than sorry.

:o Fuck! They have the mobile/home phone numbers too! That's not going to be too fun for people.... Think the name exposing was enough really but all their personal info like that is a tad harsh.
I'm bemused by just how many people from Norfolk are listed in that I've found even with a quick browse... can't see my name on the list though

:?

Apparently it's a real list that was stolen at the end of last year. There was a really damaging split around that time after a failed internal coup. Lancaster Unite Against Fascists were apparently the first to publish this link, according to the Telegraph.

I can't imagine it being up for long. It's a bit of a cheap tactic anyway, whatever anyone thinks of the BNP. If anything, it'll increase their sense of martyrdom and strengthen the resolve of the hardcore support. It'll probably scare off some of the periphery, though, which I guess is what it's about.
Top one. Nice one. Get sorted.

Fantastic, I just found the owner of the shittest pub in my local town, I always suspected he was a nazi twat and his attempt at pub/bar is shit. In many ways it's quite satisfying to have definitive proof that my harsh craracter judgements are sometimes correct. (Press ctrl F and type in the first block of your postcode to find the ones proper close to you)

Edit: Some of the data they've got is proper odd "Proof of entitlement seen
Retired shoe-shop manager. Hobbies: model figure collector (mostly medieval)"

"Report from **** ******* 2/8/07: member describes himself as a witch: potential embarrassment if active"

"Retired service engineer. Qualifed mining engineer. 'Born Again' Protestant Christian. Founder/organiser of Durham British-Israel Fellowship"

Wow, it's down already. Those lawyers can move fast when they want to. :o

The list has been mirrored on other sites (whoa, the power of t'interweb) but please do not post direct links on here - the list was allegedly stolen, there are apparently injunctions flying around and mainstream media organisations aren't taking the risk; it would be unwise for us to do so. Another reason to exercise extreme caution is that some names have been added to that list who aren't actually BNP members, so it's all a bit of a minefield. But if you really must see it, just look on the usual activist sites and you'll find what you're looking for.

There's allegedly a few serving coppers on that list and all police forces have banned their officers from being BNP members since 2004, which seems to be the main angle the mainstream media are leading on today: http://www.guardian.co.uk/politics/2008 ... e-security

Agreed... as funny as this sort of thing is when it comes from "our" side, it's not exactly cricket, is it? Democracy means that these people should be and are free to believe whatever they like without being persecuted by the rest of society... it's up to us to educate them, not punish them....

I read this in the newspaper today on the way to work. If they were that bothered about how their beliefs were to affect their lives and jobs then why sign up and give the information in the first place?
In the Metro a spokesman for the BNP was quoted saying that there were even kids names on the list... wtf!

Yep, kids as young as 14 as part of "family memberships".

From what I've gathered from the anti-fash sites, the BNP do encrypt their list and only a very small number of people have access to it so someone very high up got hold of it. They reckon it was a 2007 list to which some names have apparently been added. There was a serious internal feud at the end of last year, so obviously the leadership are blaming it on that but who knows for sure?

Anyway, it seems our caution is justified - here's an analysis of the legal position for blogs: http://www.mattwardman.com/blog/2008/11 ... for-blogs/

I know a guy who is on that list - and he's quite open to people about the fact.

Like you say its a democracy, he is quite open about his views if you ask him, but he wont preach them
