First tunes bought on vinyl?

Postby fletcher » 25 Apr 2008, 20:57

Was going through my old record collection today, and trying to figure out which vinyl i bought first....

I cant decide between these, both from 1998. Anyone know if Adam F was released before or after Shrink?!

I was 16 at the time, got both from massive records in oxford, a genius shop that i miss badly to this day. Got some killer tunes from there, and it was from that place that i caught the bug.

I think mine was possibly Meat Loaf - Bat Out Of Hell II: Back Into Hell but my parents got me that for Christmas so it doesn't really count....

So it's probably The Young Gods - Kissing The Sun remixes 12" in about 1999; before buying that I'd stuck solely to CDs.

I was a CD man until about 5 years ago.

I bought 5 records in Amsterdam before I owned a record player, I can only remember three of the five - Ceephax Acid Crew - Acid Legacy EP, Autechre - Basscad, EP (Basscadetmxs.3A) and Squarepusher - Do You Know Squarepusher?
