1. fashion statement
2. statement of intent
3. you want a permanently erect nipple and the extra sensation of pleasure associated with this
4. you like inserting your pierced nipple into your bloke's japseye
5. you are experimenting with body mods (after all, you can't remove a tattoo)

I'm sure there are other reasons. Personally I would only get one because enough wimminses have told me it looks hawt.

Fair enough really... it's your nip after all.

It's all subjective really... personally, I would be nervous about accidentally ripping it out, and nervous is the last thing I wanna be when confronted with breasts. To me it detracts from the general gropability of a boob. Though I suppose that's probably enough reason to have it done.
