Glade 2008 artist confirmations

Glade Festival is Britain's biggest and best non-corporate electronic dance music festival, with a proper havin' it vibe. It's 16-19 July 2009, get those dates in your diary.

Yea full on Psy trance by two (now down to one) ex members of the Ozric Tenticles. They played at Glade last year and it was the reason why I went.

Eat Static are playing a down tempo set this year - that's why the're on the Liquid stage.
As well as full on Psy they also do more chilled stuff. The new album Back to Earth has been collabrated with members of System 7 and the Ozrics.

Well, unless Nick is telling me porkies, there aren't any more 'big names' waiting to be announced. No Aphex, no Squarepusher and definitely no Snares(!).

Does that include all the stages or just the main stage? Glade site says theres still artists to be announced for each stage, but not sure whether thats because they just havent bothered to delete that part of the site yet!!

Also just saw on the psymusic forum that edIT's confirmed for glade.

interesting choice...

Hello Glade virgin here.... hows it going :wackyhat:

What im about to ask may sound picky however..........

When the orangisers say pendulum are "live" does this mean a full band or the pastey little geezer in the blue cap playing cds?

The only reason i ask is that they always say "live" weather its cd-boy or the full works, tis confusing

Think pendulums going to be doing a live mix, generally they tend to switch and change between songs lots during the live set so you'll get bits of one song played 3 or 4 different times in there show. I really enjoyed the last time they played.
I know people have said there not really right for glade but i do think they're good live.

WISP at Overkill overkill-stage-lineup-t5169-120.html#p84210

Rinkadink and Shane Gobi (playing as Whiplash) on the Friday. psy-fans-merged-t5185-140.html#p84115

Any more?

Out of interest does anyone know when djs are confirmed (if at all) for the market soundsystem tents?
I know for example that tribe of frog has The Frog Pond and would be interested in seeing who's playing there
