Yeah, we already have that one, they're playing the Liquid Stage: http://www.gladtalk.co.uk/lineup.html

I dunno what day either.

Not sure, never heard of orphid star before :D They look very interesting though, psychdelia with jazz, funk, rock, and drum and bass. def have to check em out.

Oh and I also realised the other day that emok and maelstrom are in fact the same person: emok is his dj name (when he plays other people's music) and maelstrom is his producers name. The fact that iboga listed him twice though could mean hes doing two sets: one dj and one live.

Dj Distance is self confirmed on his myspace, not sure if anyones already mentioned him but i couldn't see him on the lineup, it's looking like a banging year for dubstep so far, more drum and bass is needing though

Line ups just been updated on the glade site.

Mainstage:

The Grid
Utah Saints

Origin:

Dimitri Nakov
Edoardo
First Stone
Emok
Flip Flop
Headroom
Laughing Buddha
Logic Bomb
Perfect Stranger
Protoculture
Regan

Vapour:
Jeff Mills

Breaksday:

Electromeca
Tobias Schmidt
Japan Invasion - Bogulta
Cassette Boy
Rotator

Liquid:
Far Too Loud
Fromem Ory
Sketchy Pimps
Subsource
Zub Zub

:wackyhat:

My personal highlights:
James Holden (recently became a big fan. i've heard some of his dj sets before and they are reeeeally good)
Jeff Mills (kind of saw this one coming, glade had a big reputation to live up to after last years vapour and jeff mills is one of the few who can match it . can't freaking WAIT!)
Dubfire (saw 1/2 their set in buenos aires, epic dub)
Dreadzone& System 7 (again, woohooo!)

Not gonna lie though, as a psytrance fan I'm kind of disappointed with psy line up so far. All the artists I like on the line up i've already seen and most of the artists that are confirmed you can see at just about any psy festival atm (in fact, 10 of the 17 acts that have been confirmed i saw at universo paralello alone over new year). They haven't really pulled anyone *special* out of the bag yet to make glade stand out from the rest of the crowd of psy festivals... Ah well, have to wait and see i guess.
And i'm still pissed they booked pendulum fully live instead of a more original/interesting headliner :fear:

Breaksday Lineup announced!!

Postby c-more » 18 Mar 2008, 21:15

ere you go as promised you are getting it first
Breaksday fill the Friday and Saturday with the possibly the biggest International line up of Breaks DJs yet seen, with acts coming in from Australia, Finland, France, Holland, Italy, Russia, Spain and The USA, alongside some of the UKs hottest up and coming talent joining some of the biggest and most established names in the scene.
There are 2 big international Breaks acts that we are waiting for a confirmation on and a few other acts to be added
Joining the Plump DJs, Aquasky and Elite Force are
Andrea Lai
Beat Assinins
Ben & Lex
Bodysnatchers
Ctrl - Z
Drummatic Twins
Flore
High Eight
James Gill
Jay Cunning & Atomic Hooligan
Klaus Hill
Lady Waks
Madox
Marcus B
Noisia
Peter Paul
Quest & MC Ken Mac
Rico Tubbs
Slinky
Steve Thorpe

And on Sunday its Tayo’s Cool & Deadly party, where "the backbone is dub" Line up to be announced

as well as Dubfire, Pendulum Live Atomic Hooligan on the main stage and and a DJ in the Techno tent from from America called Jeff Mills....
E Flyers with a lot of the line up on are going out tonight / tomorrow and there is a lot still to be confirmed, i think its the best its the best most diverse line up yet.
Biff
Glade

Thats pretty disappointing to previous years. The extra money from ticket prices has certainly not gone into the breaks lineup. :(

Edit from admin: special thanks to the Nuskoolbreaks.co.uk forum, where this info appeared first.

Liquid Stage - Abakus
Glade Stage - Subgiant

There may be more, these are just the ones that I've noticed so far that haven't been mentioned before.

P.S. The reason that this thread has been locked is that it's meant to be an informative thread and there are plenty of other threads to have more general discussions about the line-up, such as the "So who should play at Glade 2008?" and "Glade 2008 lineup rumours" threads, plus all the threads about individual artists and bands and stages.

There's simply no point in letting this thread morph into yet another one of those. So for the time being it can stay locked, especially since most of the line-up is released now (although there'll be some more announcements for Overkill, ID Spiral, Roots, Breaksday, Sancho Panza and one or two late additions to the main stage, of course).

If anyone does hear of more confirmations (and by "confirmation" we mean something that has actually been published by the organisers, the artists or their agents etc rather than "DJ xyz told me and my mate that he'll play so yeah, that's confirmed" because on our list that's NOT a "confirmation", just a "strong rumour"), please post it in one of the other threads and a mod will merge it into this one. Thanks.
