Glade 2008 lineup rumours

Glade Festival is Britain's biggest and best non-corporate electronic dance music festival, with a proper havin' it vibe. It's 16-19 July 2009, get those dates in your diary.

That line-up looks too big for Heaven to be honest, it's gonna be quite a crush in there I expect. :?

As in Aphex Twin? (feel free to slap me if im being dense)

I would think he'd be on the main stage/Glade stage. Whilst his music style is quite "alternative" he is quite a big name.

I doubt AFX will be appearing as hes doing bestival, and they are advertising it as his only English festival appearance!

Yeah but... what they're claiming as an exclusive is him playing a proper live set as Aphex Twin. It doesn't stop him playing other festivals in England as an AFX DJ set. ;)

People need straws to cling to. ;)

Sperge my man! ceephax and rob hall (skam) add them to the line up rumors. ceephax because he always plays glade, and
rob hall because he is supporting autechre every date on their current tour so i am 100% sure he will dj at overkill

I've never been. Thought heaven was pretty damn big tho. He's got a gig at Brighton Centre as well Lineup still tba. I'll probably go to that. Better crowd and better atmosphere.

What I really want to know is, is Aphex Twin playing?

I hear Bestival has him as an exclusive!

My predictions for the overkill are

Battles
Benga
Bola
Bogulta
Ceephax
Clark
DJ Assault
DJ Scotcg Egg
Fuck Buttons
Jamie Lidell
N>E>D
Milanese
Otto Von Schiarch
Ove-Naxx
The Bug + Warrior queen
Squarepusher ( solo bass set)
Trencher
Trouble and bass crew (Drop the lime,Mathhead,Star eyes,The captain)
Venetian Snares ( I know you think i'm mental Sperge as a sound engineer said he wouldn't be... You wait though 8) )
Voltek

And obviously the ones which have been comfirmed

Yeeehh... Check how many ive got right when the full line up is anounced :elvis:

I'm not quite getting your logic there, d.a, as Bestival were claiming him as an "English festival exclusive" and T in the Park is in Scotland, which as far as I'm aware isn't in England. ;)

I do think an AFX DJ set at Glade is a possibility. But then again, it's possible he might play at my house. ;)
