Glade 2009 not at Wasing - confirmed

Glade Festival is Britain's biggest and best non-corporate electronic dance music festival, with a proper havin' it vibe. Now based at a stately home in Norfolk.

Im all for change.

a) Later
Dear god, that means definitely no sleep if its carrying on past 4am! It will be light then its too late to get sleep :fear: :? haha, brilliant

b) Louder
I generally thought the 2008 sound levels were fine, but there were the usual moaners and complaints that any UK festival gets, so its obviously something that needs improving on (covered in varying details by many threads on this forum already...)

C) New venue
As much as I loved Wasing, Glade needs a new home and a facelift. As long as it remains true to its original aims, retains its non-corporate persona, and is full of the usual lovely people and great music, the venue change shouldnt harm it.

So yes, good news all round.

if it means breakcore will be played louder then talking level then it is most certainly a good idea. Hopefully the landscape will be lovley like the original.

Wow, just seen this! Fantastic news if it means it can go on later and louder.

I will still be sad not to see Wasing next year though..i really did like that place :( It was like coming back home each year..a friendly, green (usually) visually pleasing home. Ah well, this could be exactly what it needs!

It is a shame as this year's Glade restored some of the magic, I thought.

But it will be nice to have the excitement of exploring a completely new site again.
Top one. Nice one. Get sorted.

We can dance if we want to. We can leave your friends behind.
Cos your friends don't dance, and if they don't dance, then they're no friends of mine.
