Glade coming back?

Postby keegro123 » 02 Jan 2014, 12:42

Hi all, Hope you all had a great festive period!

I've been wondering if we might see the return of glade this year.

It was suggested last year that there would be a Glade 2014 but given all that has gone on I'm not sure. If it does happen I'm sure there will be much speculation on whether it will be as good as is used to be, I for one will definitely attend if it does happen.

Anyone out there know what the crack is?

Happy this year y'all

I asked Ans about this a little while back to see if he knew and he is now out of the loop. So I really don't know at the moment.

me too RIP Glade. Somethign new. Was not impressed with the last year and they have lost trust (I had been to every Glade but doubt I would go again) so we need a new festival!

I really fancy Lee Fest this year, I love the small scale of it and they really put some thought into how all of the musical styles work together also I love the glade's norfolk site so I might pop along to the Pearl Festival for a couple of days for some pys-trance magic ;)

Im liking the sound of takeback this year as an alternative, its the weekend after boomtown, so that means I dont have to charge up to norfolk after work, and charge back on sunday for work on monday.....

Hope it goes ahead though.

I loved Glade so much and I supported them until the end but I really don't get why they were so ambiguous about everything. So Ans is 'out of the loop' ?!!

I can't quite remember- but is it common knowledge that they sold the brand, and supposedly for 20k? To my knowledge they sold it to some kid who was responsible for the night at Ministry. Can't remember if this was publicised or not.

It's certainly common knowledge that the brand was sold and that they tried to turn it into a night at Ministry, but I don't think the other details were. Until now, anyway. :D
