Glade Festival is Britain's biggest and best non-corporate electronic dance music festival, with a proper havin' it vibe. Feedback thread.

I believe snares is on at midnight now, since prefuse73 cancelled.

well from the set times poster things, that u posted on the previous page fletch, snares and moderat r both definatly playin 11-midnight satuday, and thats without prefuse on the lineup. so im afraid mr funk can wait till another time, moderat all the way.... :)

message from Overkill facebook saying that Silon Fist has also had to cancel, along with Soundmurderer and Prefuse (wich we alredy knew) and aswell as Bizzy and Plaid bein replacements (again, wich we alredy knew) Parasite is the third one!!
heres the actual message if anyone wants a read:

...Glade is less than a week now and the Overkill engine is running at full pelt. We've had a few cancellations since the last email and regrettably Prefuse 73, Silon Fist & Soundmurderer cannot make the festival.

The good news is that we've got some STUPENDOUS replacements for you in electronic stalwarts PLAID making a long-awaited return and the Godfather of British breakcore, PARASITE, making his Glade debut and finally jungle legend BIZZY B.

55 hours of Overkill across two stages, 10000+ plus ravers and partygoers, Bloc, Wrong Music, Uglyfunk & Ruffnek Diskotek, the best production we've had to date, the uniquely-wonderful vibe and....glorious sunshine - we can't bloody wait.

If you haven't got tickets you're not too late but the last few aren't going to be around long...

See you mu'fuckas down front

I'm worried now that they'll be clashing with someone I've seen less often than Snares.... or at least throws less tantrums.

To be fair can't think of anyone I'd rather see than Moderat at the moment. I'm so smitten with the new album (and of course Let Your Love Grow)

it is very nice, if a little chin strokey, and the visuals are shit hot, but not sure it's exactly party music :fear:

Moderat's an intersting one - admittedly I still need to give the album a really, really good listen, but I can't help thinking I'd rather see either act (preferably both) individually.
I've got feelings of anxiety, me.

I spotted a total of 3 Beardyman appearances over the weekend (1 solo, 1 with Bays, 1 with someone else) but I may be looking at old listings.

I'm not getting the chinstroker element. There's no late Autechre-style pretentiousness, it's just simple, brilliant electronic music. :)

Props to the dude on NSB who generated the original. Props to me for being bothered enough to reformat it :P :D

Some of the lineups have changed, but not much, if someone could be very helpful and give me a nice textual list of them in one post I'll update them tonight and re-send to Sperge. I've already done one or two. Stage / Time / New artist would be ideal.

e.g. Glade / Beardyman / 11:45-12:45

PS I'll also be doing mini versions tonight (pocket sized rather than A4) and the idea of having them keychain-mountable is brilliant so I'll do that as well. So stand by for more spoddy printery goodness. Excel spods will be able to marvel at my Excel wizardry on the last two stage lineups. Shame I couldn't be bothered making it all automated. Next year tho eh!!
