Glade Festival Statement

Glade Festival is Britain's biggest and best non-corporate electronic dance music festival, with a proper havin' it vibe. Now based at a stately home in Norfolk.

Yeah I'm with u on that. Ha, ha I did a support slot for Baily once @ the blue note. Colin Dale used to be a pretty good techno DJ (if it's the same dude). Got no idea who the hell anyone else is apart from the V ppl and Normski. Sounds like a bunch of crew DJs but I could be wrong. Anyone? Is this good? Is it Psy? Is it safe?

VIP sets, nice...

I have no idea what any of the SGP lot play.

The zombie soundsystem lot are tech house, they did a few sunday sessions at turnmills before it shut down.

heard a rumour that the guy who runs Ministry of Sound just came out as being pro-Thatcher. that's surely the final nail in Glade's coffin right?

No further line-ups released for this yet, despite it being weekly. The "103" room appears to have the same lineup every week.

Yep, it's hardly a shock. Not only are some of the big club owners fairly Thatcherite in their views, even one or two of the illegal rave promoters from back in the day are major league Tories now. One of them runs the Guido Fawkes blog.

I think a couple of our favourite DJ/promoters here admire Mrs T too. ;) I don't mean James, I have no idea of his political leanings.

It's not a real surprise for me, as it's one of those fields where all the ideology about individual success makes more sense to people, whereas collective action makes a lot more sense to factory workers etc.
Top one. Nice one. Get sorted.
