Glade Festy - Day Tickets announced

Postby Dave Skywalker » 18 Jul 2008, 13:35

Just caught this quickly on the main http://www.gladefestival.com website:

"Glade is Rocking!
The weather is wicked, the people are arriving and we're loving it! There's already 7000 plus crew on site.... Another 3000 tickets ve been sold. Tickets can still be bought online or at the door. Day tickets are available from Saturday afternoon.. More info soon. You can still turn up and buy on the gate too.. We're not just saying it because we need to sell more tickets (which we do a little) but also because the energy here is amazing!"

Interesting! I'm already out tonight and tomorrow night but depending on cost I suppose I could take a trip over on the sunday morning if it isn't too expensive :D

Go on Dave. You know you wanna....
Since July 20 1969, only eleven men have followed in Neil Armstrongs footsteps on the moon. Eleven. in nearly forty years. Pathetic. I mean, it's not rocket science is it?

Seriously contemplating a day ticket here... the Saturday lineup is tempting, even if I will have to concede to missing Bangface tonight!

Ah, day tickets only for the Sunday, well that makes sense, I guess. Could be nice for a day in the sun still..

Well, I wouldn't be suprised if the "day tickets" would be for saturday night and sunday. Can't see how else they'd enforce it, because once you're in, you're in aren't ya?

Can't see anything about this on the site now - shame, because I'd be very very interested if the price was right.

Funny, my friend on-site just asked and got told it's £100 - so I'm not going.

If she'd said £50, I'd already be on the train.

Someone wants to think about that policy a bit more, I reckon.

people who live in the area get them for £50. I might just have to get chummy with someone, change my statement for a month before the next glade for one month, then i'll have the documentation to get in for cheap :D

not that I paid this year 8)

How local do you have to be to qualify for cheaper tickets then? I live in Thatcham and paid full price whereas another one of my friends who lives in Thatcham got one for £50 as he contacted the people at Wasing....

I was aware that people who live in Aldermaston get them cheaper but didnt realise the catchment area included Thatcham as well....??
