Glade Planning Issues & Sound Levels?

Postby dannybee » 01 Apr 2009, 10:22

By Pal works for the Winchester Council and just informed me that there is an issue with some of the sound levels that have been proposed at Glade. I'm not able to make it this year but I hope for everyone elses sake everything is ok.

He was saying something about the outdoor stages having to either close earlier or become tents.

I've asked about this and what I've been told is:

"the outdoor stages will have to close at 11pm yes - but the tented stages will be able to run until 6am fri and sat and till midnight on sunday - so our running hours are much better overall......... we have got a proper sunday night"
Top one. Nice one. Get sorted.

Its ok that it ends at 12 on Sunday as its a chance to wander around and chat to people, i remember having some interesting conversations with people on the Sunday last year.
