Glade Virgin

Hiya lovely people,

thought I'd introduce myself as I have just been confirmed as crew for the Tea and Empathy tent.
I have to admit I'm really not sure of what to expect, I think i only know of only one other person and I've not really heard that much about Glade.

Me and my boyfriend will be heading down on the Wednesday, and I think we will be camping in the staff area.

I've never been to Glade before, so I'm a bit nervous especially as I haven't heard of a whole lot of the artists. I went to the Bangface Weekender so I'm looking forwards to Bangface on Friday.

I mostly like Drum and Bass, but notice there is no specific tent for it  but hopefully as there is Pendulum and Nosia I'll find enough to keep me occupied.

Sooooooooooo any tips, any advice, what should we expect?

Welcome, mixtape cutie. And here's the only advice I think you'll need: "Overkill Tent" ;)
Top one. Nice one. Get sorted.

If you have any useless mates who are still dithering about coming to Glade, show them this article: http://www.ravetalk.co.uk/glade-festival-2009.shtml

Oddly enough, that was my first thought as well.

I think we should, if only to stop the Tea & Empathy girls thinking we're all like baldmosher. :fear:

My only advice is this: Stop lisening to Pendulum.

Only kidding!

Have a good un!

But anyways, I advise checking out Breaks, Liquid and Overkill and Main Glade stage - they'll all have stuff you'll like, too  .

indeed, and if at first the mucis is very diffrent a few listens and you will be into it ...

I reccomend Eddie temple Morris to ease you in as he chucks lots of fluffy easy dance in there for his breaks set, then breaks if you are into drumnbass ..

go to Overkill, however I must warn you...

Yeah i agree with the stop listening to Pendulum sentiment, the new album sucks and I'm over Hold your Colour.

I think we've pretty much decided the Overkill stage is where we will be spending the majority of our time- Must remember to make a toga!
