80s synth pop FTW!

and 60s motown type stuff but thats definatley not a guilty pleasure, motown represents a time in music when it was mostly good, not full of shite

HUMAN LEAGUE, SOFT CELL AND DURAN DURAN :wackyhat:

i remember finding vienna on vinyl, and swiftly taking it back to my ex's and giving it a good blast, just as he decided to arrive with his 'oh so cool' freinds, to see me dancing around to 80s lol

Most of my early 80s vinyl is long gone. The result of being a nomad, going from rented place to rented place for a few years in London, you know how it is. :(

Most of the good stuff I bought back on CD, there's a few gems on vinyl still there though. The vinyl I'm most gutted about getting rid of is what is basically an instrumental remix album of Dare, called Love and Dancing by the League Unlimited Orchestra. There is an instrumental version of Seconds on there, which is just killer.

How would you tell if its cultured or not?? It would be pretty hard to get it to cite 3 major shakespear quotes or tell us who's danceing the lead in the current royal ballet production wouldn't it.

Although I could quote Shakespeare I couldn't tell you who's lead dancer at the Royal Ballet. I gave up on Ballet after Nijinsky retired and went on to win the 2000 guineas in 1966. Are you saying I'm a scab? Eh? Eh?
