Hip hop at Glade?

Glade Festival is Britain's biggest and best non-corporate electronic dance music festival, with a proper havin' it vibe. Now based at a stately home in Norfolk.

Hip hop at Glade?

D'ya reckon we'll ever see it? It's not all about guns, crack and bitches, y'kno? It would be nice to see some UK peeps like Syntax, Foreign Beggars, Stig or the like.

Or some really chilled stuff, like Sevin Star.

There never really seems to much hip hop at festies, it would be perfect for the afternoon too. I see taskforce are playing at Mantua (Ire) this year- should be good!

So would you like to see it? Who would you wanna see play?
It's not dubstep... it's MUDstep!

erm personally the day they do start booking hip hop acts will be the day i stop going. I just about managed to convince myself to go this year with Pendulum on the bill due to the chav ratio likely to be higher, but hip hop would just send it into orbit. Agreed not all of it is guns etc etc and there is some good stuff out there and not everyones a 'blud' who likes it but it isnt what i personally would want at a 'electronic dance' festival. Hip hop is for clubs never seen it work at a festi. Westwood at bestival last year was horrific.

Skitz and Rodney P were meant to play last year in the roots tent. Think they were a no show what with the weather n that. I think the funkier side of Hip hop/breaks would fit in beautifully. People like Fort knox five, Askillz, AGFA, Beatvandals.

Well some breakbeat has hip hop elements to it obviously...not exactly the thing you're looking for though i guess.

Rodney P played. It was one of the worst live gigs I've ever experienced in my life. Dire beyond reason.

DJ Woody would work perfectly. Lots of nice turntableism but still danceable.
