Perhaps I should mention that it starts out pretty well but about half-way through, he disses Squarepusher? :o

Its a good doc though, taught me lots of things I didn't know when I first saw it (a good 3 odd years ago now) Can't remeber him dissing the pusher... What does he say? (I can't be arsed to watch it again now)

He says Squarepusher's use of the break is "absurd" because it goes "beyond the point of danceability and syncopation and into a realm of pure fetishisation and self-indulgence".

Yea, he is correct SP's music is just plain daft. Its his own fault that he can't appreciate it. Its for this reason that I dislike the term IDM, IDM isn't really a form of dance music, its like calling free jazz a type of dance music because some of the more popular forms of jazz are dance music. Simply cos its electronic music doesn't mean its dance music.
